Collin Reed, a 39-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, hit the jackpot during his Florida vacation when he won a $1 million prize from a scratch-off lottery ticket. The fortunate encounter took place at a Publix store in Naples, where Reed purchased a $5 Gold Rush Doubler scratch-off ticket. To his delight, the ticket revealed a $1 million top prize. Opting for a one-time, lump-sum payment, Reed collected $685,000 at the Florida Lottery's Fort Myers District Office. The Publix store in Naples also secured a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
