Sixty (60) employees of Flow played a crucial role in providing over four hundred and twenty-five (425) students with the opportunity to explore the dynamic field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The initiative, known as Flow’s Career Day in ICT, was conducted at the Dabadie Government Primary School on Thursday, November 16. The primary objective of the event was to offer young students valuable insights into the diverse and rewarding paths within the ICT sector. Throughout the morning, students engaged with Flow employees who shared their experiences, expertise, and provided advice to help guide the students in navigating the world of ICT. Simone Martin-Sulgan, Vice President and General Manager of Flow, emphasized the significance of sharing knowledge, stating, “Heart is more than something we have; it’s something we share.” Ronald Rosan, the Principal of Dabadie Government Primary School, expressed gratitude for the opportunities provided by Flow. He mentioned that the Career Day marked a significant milestone for the school, which has been in existence for one hundred and twenty-two years. The event was part of Flow's Mission Week, the company's largest employee volunteer initiative, now in its fourth year. Employees across various markets participate in volunteer activities guided by Flow's four Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pillars: Learning, Environment, Access, and Disaster Relief. The event received support from partners and sponsors, including pennacool.com, Supercow Milk, Festival Cookies, Prestige Holdings/KFC, SM Jaleel, and Sunshine Snacks. The delight on the faces of the students as they explored the vast and dynamic world of ICT was described as a pleasure to behold by Flow.
