Esther Manning, 105, was the stepmother of the late Patrick Manning, and grandmother to Brian Manning. Though Mrs. Manning was not the biological mother to Patrick Manning she played an active role in his life after marrying his father. Her strong belief in the Anglican faith made her the disciplinary she was, and grandson Brian Manning stated that she played a pivotal role in ensuring he had a sound education. She ensured that he was taken to school on time, and that his school work was done in a timely manner. Manning further stated that his grandmother was heavily involved in his upbringing, and the lessons taught to him will remain as lifelong teachings. Grandma Manning was a woman who was an active member in the Anglican church, and believed that God should be the centre of everyone's lives. Manning said, though she wasn't his father's biological mother, she was all he knew since he was 3-years-old. Manning mentioned that he last saw his grandmother earlier this year, and kept a safe distance away from her due to the global Covid 19 pandemic. His last visit saw her with a great aura, and Manning felt that she was in better health and on the road to being herself again. Unfortunately, his grandmother passed on Saturday at her Cocoyea Village, San Fernando home. Her care-taker found her unresponsive when she visited the home to do her daily routine care.
